Kevin and Eamon ambled into the shop without fanfare on Saturday, 9th May, 2026 at the start of a Wild Atlantic tour engagement, two collossi of traditional Irish music.
They chatted fluidly with no inhibition and played and wove magic with their instruments and all of us who had the good fortune to be present didn't want it to end.

Such a memorable visit to the shop from two living legends, Kevin Burke and Eamon O' Leary.

Blue skies and freshly painted shop,one complimenting the other.
This painting wizardry was done by bass troubadour, Kevin Glynn - a proud Doora-Barefield native and happily ensconced within the boundary of our medieval town but longing to return to his native sod(400 metres east, beyond the railway bridge).
