Hi, We are Meakstown Community Council and this is our page for updates and community news. It can be used to raise issues, promote local community events and to connect people in the Meakstown area. The Meakstown area in Dublin 11 has seen huge development in the last ten years and now includes the following housing estates: Creston, Charlestown, Mayeston, Melville, Seagrave, Cityside an
d Citygate. There are approximately over five and a half thousand residents living in the area. It also includes Ikea and Charlestown shopping centre. Meakstown Community Council is representing the Meakstown residents and our aim is to build and foster a strong solid Community spirit and ensure Meakstown is a place we can all be proud of. We would hope this strong ethos will provide an environment where the young will flourish. This page provides a forum to raise and discuss local issues in a respectful manner and to highlight local community events.
