Claire has a background in Product Design and works as a full time Project Manager in Galway. She has completed a series of evening courses run by Irish Milliner Jaime McEleney in Cluain Mhuire, GMIT and has been designing headpieces for friends and family since 2010. She hand sculpts many of her hat blocks and is exploring non-traditional methods of creating new hat forms. Claire is a classically
trained ballet dancer and in recent years has been heavily involved in costume & headpiece design for Youth Ballet West & Chrysalis Dance productions. With a new Autumn/Winter range in progress, Claire is excited to create a line of new pieces influenced by classic 1950’s & 1960’s designs with a contemporary twist. Taking inspiration from clients themselves, Claire has a great eye for fashion trends and knows what styles work best for individuals. The albums below are examples of some of Claire’s work to date.
