🎨🎶 Creative Calm for Better Learning 🎶🎨

Art, crafts and music can do more than support wellbeing — they can help children settle, focus, think clearly and approach problems with greater confidence.

Through mindful making and creative exploration, children practise planning, sequencing, experimenting, problem-solving and independent thinking — all skills that connect naturally with STEM learning.

A calmer child is often better able to concentrate, persevere, explore ideas and find solutions independently.

I’m now offering creative wellbeing and craft workshops for preschools and primary schools, combining calm, creativity and practical learning. PM for further details.

Knitted in fine 2-ply yarn, this little matinee jacket has a beautifully light, delicate feel. Tiny stitches flow into soft waves of lace, with open eyelets that give the pattern an airy look. The gently scalloped hem adds a lovely finishing touch. Now for the finishing touches - I think a bonnet perhaps and booties 🧶👶🏻❤️

This little baby knit is coming along beautifully 🥰 The fine 2-ply yarn and 2.25 mm needles make for tiny, neat stitches, and I’m enjoying watching the lace pattern grow with each row. It feels so soft, and the delicate lace edge is giving it such a lovely finish for a new little arrival 🌺 Now to add beautiful lace sleeves🥰

I’m really enjoying exploring this beautiful, delicate lace pattern using soft 2-ply baby wool. The fine yarn brings such clarity and refinement to every stitch, allowing the intricate leaf-like motifs and open lacework to stand out beautifully.
It requires a lot of patience and concentration, (and good eyesight 😊) - but the result is wonderfully delicate and timeless—perfect for a precious baby matinee set. 🤍🧶✨ can’t wait to see the finished set!

🌸 A Special Birthday Stitch 🌸

Hand-stitched with love for a very special little lady on her birthday. 💕 absolutely loved doing this one 🥰

A beautiful hummingbird pauses among delicate pink blossoms, surrounded by fresh green leaves and softly falling petals. Every tiny stitch has been carefully worked by hand, from the feathers of the little bird to the petals of each flower.

The hummingbird can symbolise joy, happiness, resilience and the sweetness of life, while the flowers represent beauty, growth and new beginnings.

Made especially for you, with the hope that you will always remember to spread your wings, find happiness in the little things, and bloom beautifully wherever life takes you.

Happy Birthday 🥰
