Ok, kinda getting in the spirit now... ! There are so many decorations up in our neighbourhood, and I’m so hoping to be able to see friends and family again. How is everyone else finding this second lockdown?

This year we have had to adapt, do without, and sacrifice a whole lot... and at the same time (I think) we’ve regained a sense of ourselves, of the things that really matter. We’ve seen how helpful hope is in keeping us going, and how good it is to simply be with the ones we love.
Sometimes I wonder if I’ve learnt much at all during this season and then other times I notice how elated I feel after a walk with a friend, and how settling it is to see our post delivered by the same kind face at the same time every day.
And I’m wondering how much more joy could be found by paying more attention to my little life

It’s the season for it 🍂 My favourite soup is roasted sweet potato and garlic.. found an amazing recipe for it last year that knocked my socks off 🤪 anyone else have any good soup combos?

All the supplies for a morning adventure ✨

This morning I packed up my backpack, hopped on my bike and headed off to find somewhere lovely to sit. It felt great to get out of the house! I landed at a lake and sat with my coffee and notebook attempting to write. It definitely wasn’t as aesthetically pleasing as this little doodle, and my coffee spilt in my bag (classic) BUT I do feel better for starting the day in a refreshing way.

Anyone else finding fun ways to change it up?

It was for a very special lady who is an amazing mum.

Her sister in law, who commissioned the piece, chose the poem “Make the Ordinary Come Alive” by William Martin for the centre. Isn’t it just beautiful - hope you can find the wonder and the marvel in your ordinary life, this weekend 🌱

Hello lovelies

I think it’s high time I sat down and wrote some cards of my own! It’s been a while. I might schedule in some time for it over the weekend.. love having plenty of time, some music and candles and a cup of tea. Definitely a helpful way for me to come back to the present moment.. Praying helps me too and some grounding or breath work for those (many) moments when I feel scattered throughout the week.

Have you some plans for slowing down this weekend?
