🎃👻 LITTLE BOOS, BIG SCREEN & FREE FAMILY FUN! 🍿

Halloween Cinema is coming to The Woodstack Café from Saturday 10 October, with spooky adventures and plenty of treats! 🌲✨

🎬 Double movie days: Saturdays 10, 17, 24 & 31 October, plus Bank Holiday Monday 26 October!
🧙 12pm: Younger kids — ages 3–7
👻 3pm: Older kids — ages 8–12

🎃 Extra midterm movies at 3pm: Wednesday 28, Thursday 29 & Friday 30 October!

🧛 Halloween fancy dress is optional — come in costume or cosy clothes, everyone’s welcome!

Lovely piece by Mario on a very special man both in terms of community and family.

Today we say goodbye to one of the greats - one of the great voices of history in Kildare, one of the great personalities. Ever ready to share knowledge and impart memories and stories Reggie Darling truly was/is a giant among the local History and history community when it comes to County Kildare and of course the Curragh - any and all things Curragh would mean at some stage encountering the name Reggie or if you were lucky enough, the man. For he was a kind and gentle spirit, that 'true gentleman' we talk about, personified.
My thoughts today are with his loving wife Kathryn, children Grace, Edel, Paula, Fintan (Reggie), Aisling, and daughter in law Roisin and extended family and with his extended Curragh family.
Reggie, I will miss you for your knowledge and passion but mostly for your smile and kindness, always. Thank you for what you did to promote the Curragh and Kildare and mostly thank you for who you were. I may not get to say goodbye to you today but I will drop by shortly.

Our member Sarah has set up a fantastic walking group!!
They have been walking on the Curragh during the Summer but are now moving to the town as the dark evenings arrive.
Join them to walk the Tully Loop on Thursday 1st October at 7pm.
