Fluid movement frozen in time." 🌊🧵Introducing Currents of Colour, an original mixed media textile artwork that explores momentum, flow, and material depth.

Designed with high-end, contemporary spaces in mind, this piece builds a mesmerizing topography of texture.

Look closely to discover energetic pathways of deep navy, vibrant magenta, and earthy ochre threads twisting dynamically across an intuitive, layered background of circular, eco conscious fabrics.

It is an exploration of organic river like currents finding their rhythm across a structured canvas.

Beautifully finished in a deep white frame with a signed mount, it is a sophisticated, sensory statement piece tailored for modern gallery walls and luxury interiors.

“What Can You See" Collection ✨"Fluid paths weaving through structural lines." 🌊🧵

I am delighted to introduce this original abstract artwork. This intimate, highly detailed piece explores the beautiful dialogue between nature and structure. Look closely and you will find an intricate interplay of fluid turquoise and cerulean blue threads twisting beneath a geometric hand and machine-stitched grid, evoking the movement of flowing rivers cutting paths through architectural frameworks.

Created entirely with circular, sustainable fabrics including rich velvets and layered textiles, this work invites you to lean in close and discover its tactile depth.

"What do you see when you look beneath the layers?" 🧵🔍I am absolutely thrilled to share a very special piece from my body of work: The What Can You See Collection.
This piece, titled The Quiet Tangle of Chaos, is a striking original mixed media artwork that explores the delicate, intuitive balance between structure and disorder.
By building a complex overlay of mixed threads and textiles, I wanted to create a shifting landscape that changes every single time you look at it.

Intricate, wandering webs of earthy brown, bright orange, and deep black threads twist across a heavily textured background. It is a piece designed to invite close inspection, contemplation, and personal interpretation.

Interview with Irish artist Christina Drennan about upcyling themes in her work

Thoughts for the day while looking at
“Tropical Birds.” 🕊️✨

I really do love this piece.

I’m sitting here looking at the frame my fabulous brother made for it.

I originally sprayed it with a chalk antique white, but now I’m having those classic artist thoughts, wondering if I should sand it back and repaint it, or just leave it as it is.

The decisions that go on behind the scenes!

This one isn’t even up on the website yet, so I’m sharing it here again.

It’s an original mixed threads and textile piece, measuring 78 x 64.5 cm in its handmade frame.

This little fella has officially headed off to his new forever home! 🧸⚓️

As a little nautical bear, he will always find his way! 🌊🧭

Wanted to share this incredibly special project, a loving mum’s gift to her son, crafted from the very clothes he wore as a baby.

To the wonderful mum who ordered this, thank you from the bottom of my heart for trusting me with your little boy’s precious heirlooms.

It tugged at the heartstrings!

The nautical theme turned out so lovely.

Every tiny detail, from the little waistcoat and neckline piece to the miniature buttons, pockets, and his hospital cot sheet, holds a lifetime of memories. So delighted to handle these precious materials.

Just as a lovely little bonus, 98% of my packaging is recycled, too! Keeping those memories safe while being kind to the planet. 🌍🥰💖

📅 September Booking Update:

Have yousome precious clothes you would love transformed? Just two slots are left for September! Head straight over to the website to book yours, and let’s see what beautiful memories we can create together. ✨🤗🌻

A closer look at the raw, tactile depth of
“Our Paths Have Crossed”

(100cm x 100cm).

Built layer by layer, this piece is all about texture, organic movement, and how fibers catch the light. It brings a really beautiful, sculptural energy to a wall.

This main piece is now officially live on my website for interior designers and collectors looking for a sustainable statement artwork.

Continuing the story… and yes, this one is sold too! 📦

✨Following on from the other pieces I’ve shared this today, this is another one from my "What Can You See" Collection that never actually made it onto the website.

I really wanted to post this one to talk about what online support actually feels like for an Artist.

Every single like, lovely comment, or website order feels like a massive pat on the back when you work completely alone in a creative space.

I am so grateful to the art lovers and interior designers who look at these raw, layered fabrics and see the value in something made by hand.

It is an amazing feeling to know my work is out there connecting with people and going into spaces where it will be truly appreciated.

I’m flat out boxing everything up to ship early next week, but before this one goes, take a second to look close. What can you see?
