Wild Atlantic Woodcraft

Wild Atlantic Woodcraft Wild Atlantic Woodcraft is based in Killorglin, Co. Kerry. My name is Paudie Jones, I’m originally from Killorglin, and I’m a keen Woodturning enthusiast.

Following the infamous storm Darwin in February 12th 2014, I was lucky enough to turn the fallen trees from the locality into something of beauty and use. I began experimenting with the Oak and Beech timber which came from Beaufort and the Monkey Puzzle tree which came from Killarney. I was also able to use an array of other timber that otherwise would not have been available. The style I like to

use is in keeping as near to the original product as possible. I leave the Natural edge for the bowls and vases because it gives you a direct link to the tree from bark to pith and really shows off the beauty of the wood

Please contact me if you would like me to make something in particular. I have all types of timber available and prices vary. I will be exhibiting at K-Fest this June Bank Holiday 2016.
