☆☆☆ GREYHOUND PUPPY ALERT ☆☆☆
Have you ever seen anything as cute as little firecracker Beóga. His gorgeous name means lively in Irish, and that's exactly what this 10 week old greyhound puppy is. He's also confident, affectionate, and adorable. He's ready and waiting for adoption applications at , who are the amazing rescue that have given him the chance of a loving forever home.

What makes us extra happy is that this little boy will never see the inside of a greyhound stadium or risk his life for the sake of someone's bet.

A whole big beautiful world awaits him as a PET!

A wonderful walk at The Flaggy Shore this morning with 10 fabulous hounds and 1 honorary hound, along with their fabulous humans.

In no particular order we walked with Goldie, Ada, Maggie, Berry, George, Fionnuala, Sancho, Cleo, Fi, Dan and Murdoch. They turned heads, stopped people for pets, and were the best ambassadors for their breed.

And a little sighthound walking group was formed today where we plan to meet up again for more awareness walks and socialising.

Huge thanks to everyone who turned up to our walk, it was mighty! More photos and videos later.

We hope everyone who walked today, around the globe had as much fun as we did.

It's all happening tomorrow! The GGGW is finally here.

Will you be joining us at The Flaggy Shore in North Clare? Here are a few tips to make the walk as enjoyable as possible.

☆ Come along a little earlier than 11am so that we can get walking on time.
☆ Be prepared for a shower, but it's promised to be mostly a dry day 🤞
☆ Bring p**p bags as we're all about being responsible.
☆ Dogs must be kept on leash.
☆ We will likely meet people walking their pooches, so let's be respectful and responsible in our interactions.
☆ This walk is to promote the Sighthound breed and show whoever we meet that they are amazing dogs!

Great news.....Rita has gone into foster with our dear friend Sarah from 💕

She's had a settled first night and is currently snoozing after a 5k walk with her new friend Connie, seen in the picture above.

Thank you Sarah, you've really made a difference to Rita's future. In August, she leaves for Germany and a forever home thanks to the wonderful team

We're delighted for this beautiful girl 💕

FOSTER HOME NEEDED: Beautiful, affectionate, young girl, Rita needs a foster home for approx 6 weeks. Ideally, she needs to stay in a home with other dogs her size, free of cats and with humans around for much of the day.

Rita is clean in her kennel and should acclimatise well in a home. She's quite lazy and loves her snoozing time. But she likes zoomy time and her walks.

As she's coming directly from a greyhound kennel environment, she will need time to adapt to life in a home.
If you can help, then please send us a message. Everything will be provided, food, a crate, bedding etc. And full support, 24/7.

We forgot to mention that beautiful Freya became a member of the family here at HQ Thrifty Hound! A perfect fit, a sweetheart, an instant best friend, and it’s an absolute honour to be able to look after her. Loved beyond measure 🩵🩷🩵

At almost 11 yrs old, she came into the care of our heroes , and together, we intend to make every moment count for beautiful Freya.

As you can see, she enjoys being outside, sniffing, exploring, and taking life easy....who could blame her.
