Treasure from the kitchen garden today - Oca (a Peruvian tuber that loves growing in Leitrim) and Jerusalem artichokes (another easy to grow tuber). Both roasted with baked potatoes for dinner - all from the garden, that’s what I call low food miles!!

Love the colour of the Vitalena willow. Thinking it’s like growing your own vegetables-by the time you’ve planted & cared for them and then harvested and sized and dried them-it’ll make the basket Weaver very careful of not wasting any! I suppose that’s the way we should be.
