Leixlip Road Collisions 2016, roads with most injuries:

- R148 Leixlip Village to Intel, 6 collisions involving 4 passengers, 1 driver, 1 motorcycle, 2 pedestrians and 1 cyclist.

- M4 Leixlip by-pass motorway 5 drivers and 3 passengers in 5 collisions.

- R149 Captains Hill, 2 collisions involving 1 passenger and 1 driver.

One collision involved a serious injury in Leixlip Village.

Since May 2026 the Road Safety Authority has published data on road collisions in Ireland 2016-2024, available at;

We know from recent hospital reports that their injury statistics can be up to 50% higher than Garda data.
