Good morning, I think as gardeners we tend to enjoy the PROCESS of gardening more than the garden. Its fantastic to see a garden develop and there is a great sense of creativity involved in making a garden - and keeping it. Perhaps this process overtakes the joy of actually just stopping and absorbing what we have made😆, but I think it's really important to take time and enjoy the actual results of the hard work and sit down with a coffee or wander around and take a few photographs. All these things will actually help us develop better gardens - and create peaceful sanctuaries to enjoy and relax in.

Hello, mowing paths in your lawn is a good way to get around if you have left the rest long.
I leave the garden centre lawn long as it's great for wildlife. The paths enable me to get around to do garden stuff in the borders.
