Kilmeedy Community Development Group has been selected as one of the charities to benefit from the JP McManus Sweepstake, taking place at Limerick Racecourse on Sunday, 18th October. 🏇💚

We are incredibly grateful to have been chosen as part of this hugely anticipated event, which brings together communities and organisations from across the Midwest Region. Being selected is a wonderful recognition of the work being carried out by Kilmeedy Community Development Group and the difference our community continues to make through the many projects, facilities, events and services we provide.

And if a trip to the ponies sounds like your idea of a great day out, we’d love you to join us! 🏇🍀

🎟️ Discounted tickets are available to purchase in Roots, so if you’d like to come along and support Kilmeedy Community Development Group, please call in to Roots or get in touch via social media. We’d love to see a great crowd there representing Kilmeedy!

A huge thank you to JP McManus and everyone involved in the Sweepstake for this incredible opportunity. Best of luck to all taking part.

☕ BIG COFFEE MORNING FOR MILFORD HOSPICE ☕

Friday, 25th September | 9am – 12.30pm
📍 Áras Íde, Kilmeedy

Some causes are simply too close to our hearts not to support. 💛 We’re coming together as a community for our Big Coffee Morning for Milford Hospice — a morning of tea/coffee, cake, conversation and, most importantly, kindness.

Milford Hospice provides incredible care, comfort and support to patients and their families during some of the most difficult and precious moments in their lives. The work they do touches so many families in our community, and every donation, no matter how small, helps them continue that vital work. 🫶

So come along, sit down, have a cuppa, enjoy some cake and stay for a chat. ☕🍰 Bring your friends, bring your family, bring your neighbours — everyone is welcome.

And if you can bake, we’d be so grateful for any home baking donations to help make our morning extra special. 🍰💖

We can’t wait to see you there. ☕🫶
