Lahardane Post Office & Barrett’s Shop

We would like to extend our deepest sympathies to Tom and all the Dowd family on the sad passing of Mikey Dowd.

Mikey was our very first postman when we took over the Post Office, and it was a pleasure to work with him. He was a true gentleman, and was held in the highest regard by every household on his delivery round.

We would also like to acknowledge Mikey's neighbours, who have been such a wonderful support to both Mikey and Tom over the years. Your kindness, care and friendship have not gone unnoticed and are a testament to the community that Mikey was such a valued part of.

He will be sadly missed by all who knew him.

Ar dheis Dé go raibh a anam.
