I can't believe I'm saying this after the wet few months we've had but.... if you need to get out of the sun this afternoon we have a gorgeous poety event in the bookshop.
From 2 to 4pm we have our competition winners reading their poems followed by an open session for any other poets as well as a reading from judging poet David McGloghlin.
At 4pm we will have our winning children's entrants reading their pieces and receiving their prizes.
All welcome!!!

What an incredible book. When I finished it, I went straight back to the beginning and started again! I think if I was a teacher I'd be delighted to receive this book as a gift.

Now that's a better idea than cash for the communion!
