Hand-turned Irish Burr Elm Bowl - €120

This bowl is hand-turned with a natural edge, made from Irish Burr Elm.

It's a beautiful one of a kind piece that would compliment any interior, and would make the perfect gift.

The finish on the bowl is food safe.

A Burr is a protrusion which grows on the Elm tree as if in a deformed manner, which gives it it's unique appearance and appeal. Unfortunately, Burr Elm pieces are very scarce as most Elm trees in Ireland were killed off in the 70's due to Dutch Elm Disease. This is what makes these pieces so sought after.
