A little note from me 🤍
The past few weeks have been some of the most difficult and emotional of my life, and I’ve found it hard to find the right words to say how much the kindness and support around me has meant.
Sheefin Flowers has always been so much more than a flower shop to me. It has been my second home, my happy place and, in many ways, my safe space. For so many years, I’ve opened those doors each morning and had the privilege of sharing in so many of your special moments - from weddings and new beginnings to birthdays, celebrations and everything in between.
But over the past few weeks, those doors have meant something different too.
So many of you have walked through them simply to check on me. You’ve stopped in for a chat, given me a hug, brought flowers, shared words of encouragement or just reminded me that I’m not alone.
I don’t think I’ll ever be able to properly express what that has meant to me.
I’ve always believed that flowers have a way of bringing people together, but I’ve felt that more than ever recently. The kindness I have experienced from the people of Mullingar and from so many of you further afield has been incredibly humbling.
I know there is still a lot to process, and I’m taking things one day at a time. But I also want to look forward.
To keep doing what I love. To keep opening the doors. To keep filling this little space with flowers, happiness and beautiful moments. And to keep moving forward, surrounded by the people who have shown me so much love and encouragement.
Thank you to everyone who has stood beside me, checked in, reached out or simply held me in your thoughts.
I may not have been able to respond to everyone, but please know that every message, every visit and every kind word has meant more than you know.
