I'm tamzen, a textile artist specialising in the wet felt technique. This involves using wool and other natural fibres +soap+water+ hard work to turn the raw fibre into a fabric. Each piece is unique and handmade in very small batches, quite often complete one offs! You'll find me up to my eyes in fibre, soap and water most days, coming up with new and lovely gifts for my etsy shop...

I've gone a little ... these little horsery celebrations are in for June... celebrating the and the long tradition of horsey culture. Made in McNutt of Donegal woollen tweed and stuffed with wool... classy, not a single bit if yucky plastic... naturally limited in quantity... and super local " manufacturing" as I actually hand stitched all 8 during my shop shift yesterday!

Have a happy Sunday... its the little things that add up to make life a very big adventure... enjoy the sun, cutting the grass, a walk in the park, a coffee.

When I started my little business... I would sell " mini banners" at markets, backed with "Tilda" fabric - cause that's my daughters name... they've had a little " glow up" as I've grown up... and a few of these are online, I'm testing the "adult versions" too... some with my usual sarky side coming through... and of course, no two the same, cause my brain doesn't work like that and if you buy into my brand yours probably doesn't either!

I have two workshops coming in Autumn to suitable for beginners ( and improvers) to wet felting... in September we will make toadstools and October, hanging bat baubles. Both workshops will use the wet- felting technique. Expect water, soap, messy play, surprise and satisfaction. As usual the numbers are really small- max 6 people, meaning lots of chat and attention. Don't be afraid to come alone- you won't be for long... 2hrs of phone free fun, mindful crafting and genuine connection.
