The Kernan family have been involved in retailing since the 1920’s and are now in third generation ownership, under the stewardship of Anthony Kernan who joined the business in 1990. A lot has changed since these days, but Newtowncunningham will always be where the Kernans story started. From one local shop to the Kernans you know today, it’s great to look back at a little piece of our history.

David has been a familiar face around Kernans for many years. From helping us celebrate store openings and events, to promoting Kernans along the way, he’s always been more than willing to lend his support

It’s not every day you get two of the most famous faces in Ballyshannon together, our very own Jude alongside local man and Diageo rep Brendan Travers! 🙌

Jude is a firm favourite with everyone here at Kernans Ballyshannon and always brings plenty of smiles and craic whenever he’s about. ❤️

And Brendan is no stranger around town either, a proud Ballyshannon man who’s always great to see coming through the doors.
