Progress is coming along nicely on this maple harp.

This week has been all about bringing the main components together, and it's always exciting to see a build reach the stage where it starts to look like a harp.

There’s still plenty of work ahead, but this instrument is well on its way and taking shape.

Stay tuned for more updates as we continue the journey from raw timber to finished harp.

This week we’re currently working through a new batch of Maple and Sapele harps. Always exciting seeing these projects at the early stages, where each piece of timber starts its journey towards becoming a finished instrument.

We’re starting the week's work today drilling the tuning pin and bridge pin holes for this cherry harp, a precise stage that sets everything up for stringing down the line.

The clean grain of the cherry is already showing plenty of character.

Stay tuned for progress as this harp comes to life!

Another walnut harp moving into the final stages.

This one is now fully prepped and ready to be sprayed this week. Each step has been about bringing out the natural beauty in that walnut grain, and it’s just about to come alive even more.

Finishing always transforms a piece, deepening the colour and revealing the character that’s been there all along.

Stay tuned for updates as this harp reaches completion

A look at this recently finished high-tension walnut harp. The deep grain of the walnut paired with the warm tone of the soundboard gives it a beautiful character both visually and musically.

The high-tension setup offers a powerful, responsive sound while still keeping that rich, warm tone we love. Seeing it fully strung and standing in the workshop is always a proud moment.

Another harp ready to begin its musical journey.

A busy morning in the workshop.

Drilling the tuning pin and bridge pin holes today on these two harps, one in warm sapele, the other in rich walnut. A big step forward for both instruments as they move closer to being finished.
