A simple technique I use when engraving painted plywood:

🎨 Paint the plywood
🩹 Mask the surface
🔥 Engrave the design

The masking protects the painted surface from smoke and residue, helping me get cleaner edges and a more professional finish.

It’s one of those small workshop tricks that makes a big difference! 🤎
