Please support Gerrys Tree Initiative this year 🌟

Thank you to all that have donated to Our Christmas Tree Initiative 2019.
Just a little information on the Peter McVerry Trust 1 of Our 2 charities..

Peter McVerry Trust is a national housing and homeless charity committed to reducing homelessness and the harm caused by substance misuse and social disadvantage. During the Christmas period, Peter McVerry Trust support families and individuals who are homeless by creating as positive an experience as possible for those in their services and hubs. Delivering that experience would not be possible without the support of the public. While many of us spend Christmas in our own homes or the homes of a family member, this is not always possible for families or individuals separated through homelessness. We are inviting our customers to help us support them by donating to our Christmas Tree Initiative 2019 and help us raise funds for those in need this Christmas.

Great to see the Christmas trees gaining more decorations day by day ❤🎅

We are delighted to announce that we are extending our Christmas Tree Initiative 2019 to Café Jacques, located above our Skerries store. The Initiative supports both the Peter McVerry Trust and the DSPCA, two charities who do fantastic work all year round to support those in need. When our customers make a donation and place a Christmas decoration on our tree, Gerry's will match the donations made and the overall proceeds will be halved between our charity recipients. Tree decorations are available at our donation points in-store and in Café Jacques.
