Today Kinhood turns five. I started it on International Women’s Day 2021 because I believed - and still do - that the things you bring into your life should mean something.
What I didn’t plan for: that the thing you’d all mean something to me.
Five years of late night orders packed between shifts. Five years of finding brands that do things the right way, slowly, on purpose. Five years of the Le Bon Shoppe sock quietly becoming one of the bestselling things in this store - which I find both deeply unsurprising and extremely funny, because they’re just socks, except they’re not just socks at all and if you know, you know.

They’re already ordered and due with us soon, but opening pre-orders helps bridge that gap small businesses know well - paying for stock now and waiting a while before it lands.

I know they’re only socks, but they’re the kind you end up reaching for all the time. Soft, hold their shape, and just feel that bit nicer day to day.

I started bringing them into Kinhood because we wear them constantly at home and they’ve genuinely lasted. Nothing flashy, just really well made basics.

We’ve them in extended sizes too, so they’re not just for me.
