Thanks everyone for all your donations recently. We appreciate each and every one that you have dropped ínto us. We really do. However last week someone left two bags outside our door that had items with human excrement on them. Old dirty underwear and a rolled up bath mat with excrement also inside it.
You can imagine the horror our precious volunteers felt when they touched the items in this bag. Thankfully these bags are in the minority but we really must stress that our front door is not a dumping ground for items that need to be sent to your own bins. Not ours. It’s so disappointing in this day and age that we have to write this post. Our customers and donators are so good to us and they regularly ensure whatever they give is in great condition so we will always be grateful to you for that.
