Rathcroghan Visitor Centre, located in the medieval village of Tulsk, Co. Roscommon, is the interpretative experience and resource hub for the internationally-significant Rathcroghan Archaeological Landscape. We provide the following community-based tourism services for our visitors to the unique archaeological landscape of Rathcroghan.
- Rathcroghan Visitor Centre interpretive museum and exhibition rooms.
- Expert guided tours of the Rathcroghan Archaeological Landscape.
- Local craft, gift and special interest Bookshop.
- Online specialist Bookshop resourcing local history and heritage publications locally, nationally and internationally.
- Táin Café – community café, serving locals and visitors, 6 days a week, year-round.
- Conference room facilities. This charitable social enterprise is assisted in its operations through the generous funding provided by Pobal Community Services Programme and the Heritage Council Organisations Support Fund.

WHO SHOT QUEEN MEDB?👑
An evening of storytelling, myth, mayhem and mighty heroes, bringing Ireland’s great epic The Táin Bó Cúailnge to life in Sligo this September. Come and meet Queen Medb, Cú Chulainn and the warriors, lovers and larger-than-life characters of Ireland’s most famous tale.

Rathcroghan's own master storyteller Mike McCarthy brings his storytelling performance 'Who Shot Queen Medb?' to Sligo Saturday September 25th @ 8pm at The Factory Performance Space.

This earlier sculpture from Fabworx Ltd made us realise they would be the right choice to reimagine the white bull of Connacht, the Finnbhennach. It already was making a stir in the fields of Longford where the company are based 🐂
