ALTITUDE Specialist bike shop based in Waterford City, Ireland. Established 1989. Altitude is Waterford City's longest established bike shop - we've been here since 1989.

We cater to all types of cyclists - from super lightweight carbon fibre racing bikes to mountain bikes, hybrid bikes and children's bikes. We are a Trek Partner Store and also stock Giant, Scott and Bergamont bikes as well as a full range of accessories and components. Our workshop is a Shimano Service Centre and we offer wheelbuilding, suspension servicing and carbon fibre repairs.

On behalf of all of us at Altitude we want to wish our friend Peter the very best of luck as he heads off to a new career in the Fire Service. Peter has been a huge asset to Altitude over the last few years and we are sorry to see him go. His last day at work here is Saturday June 6th.

New Team Member Alert! We’re happy to welcome Callum to the Altitude team as we’re getting ready for a change to our line up in the coming weeks - more about that later! Callum is a qualified fitness coach and a member of Carrick Tri Club along with being a really nice person (a critical component to being part of Altitude!). He’s in the training-in phase here for the moment, getting used to our software system and our way of doing things so go easy on him!

Here’s what Mother Nature can do in a short time! We owe a debt of gratitude to Waterford Lions Club for facilitating this project for us and we’ve committed to another two years of funding the planting of young trees around Waterford. It’s both a way for us to mitigate our carbon footprint and to give something back to the community that has supported us for so long.
