ArtPanther is a brand new artist-run gallery/shop nestled under the archway of the Annexe building of Wexford Arts Centre, on John's Gate Street. ArtPanther's quirky, custom-fitted shop showcases an eclectic collection of work by national and international contemporary artists and makers. From original paintings to digital prints, handmade jewellery to 2-D and 3-D design, cards and homewear, ArtPanther offers a wide range of beautiful yet affordable art products. Artists include Claudine O'Sullivan, Declan Cody, Andrew Kenny, Eoin Whelehan, Tiny Kooka, Scribble & Stone, David Begley, Hanneke Van Ryswyck, Eva Lynch, Kate Murphy, Jonathan Murphy, Minushka and many more... Artpanther also produces its own range of one-off art products, cards and homewears. ArtPanther is one element of a new studio residency project developed by artists Jonathan Murphy and Kate Murphy in collaboration with Wexford Arts Centre. The Annexe building has been completely transformed by the artists to house working visual art studios with a trendy little gallery/shop below on the ground floor. This artistic eco-system sustains and supports the artists while offering the general public an opportunity to view and buy unique, affordable gifts in Wexford town.
