✨ Staff Saturday Showcase ✨

It’s that time again, and this week we’re proudly featuring Jessica’s absolutely stunning Christening Shawl 💕

This elegant piece was lovingly crocheted using her go-to yarn, King Cole Cherished in White, with the pattern taken from the Sirdar Baby Crochet Book — Pattern No. 1299.

The shawl works up beautifully and surprisingly quickly thanks to the double treble stitch, creating such a soft and delicate finish. Jessica also added her own creative touch by swapping the original edging for a gorgeous shell border, as she felt the larger triangles were a little too heavy for such a delicate design — and we think the result is simply perfect ✨

The Baby Crochet Book also features lots of other lovely crocheted baby bits and beautiful projects, making it a fantastic addition to any crocheter’s collection 🧶👶

✨ Customer Make of the Week ✨

How beautiful is this chunky cable jumper created by our talented customer Francis for her very lucky daughter 💛

Made using Sirdar Pattern 10873, this design takes a simple chunky knit and elevates it with a stunning cable detail that forms delicate heart shapes throughout the garment. The clever set-in sleeve design also helps reduce bulk under the arms, making it extra comfortable to wear under a winter coat , stylish and practical!

Francis chose to knit hers in Stories Chunky shade “All Nighter” — a gorgeous 50/50 cotton and acrylic blend. She said it was an absolute dream to knit with, and we all know there’s nothing more satisfying than a quick chunky knit on the needles 🧶✨
