We are really looking forward to the big blow out at the end of the Summer - Eclectic Picnic!

Red Books Underground will be hosting the Mindflux tent from Friday August 28th to Sunday 30th, hosting events as diverse as spoken-word, music, debating, comhra and crafting.

Another great night of music and spokenword at The Chapter & Verse Collective in Red Books Underground.

Huge thanks to the mystro of C&V JJ Bird for bringing together another night of talent, and to the performers; Hugh Miller, Steve Huenneke, James and Alice McIntyre, Antanna and Cool Hand Ukes.

Chapter & Verse returns on September 3rd, but if you cant wait for more live entertainment in a bookshop, then we have the The Driftwood Sessions taking place at 7.30pm tomorrow night in Red Books.

We're delighted to have Red Books very own Dannielle running the first Childrens Storytime in Red Books Underground from 11.30am on Bank Holiday Monday.

This event would be ideal for kids from 3-8, and its FREE!

Another great night of Creature Features at Red Books Underground tonight with back to back showings of two classic flying monster movies!

Huge thanks to Pippa, Hal and all the Creature Features team for such an enjoyable evening. They're back on Wednesday the 26th of August.

Another great night of poetry at Outspoken: Spoken Word Open-Mic in Red Books Underground

Thanks to our hosts AnneMarie O Byrne Hammel and Deirdre McGarry Barker, to our featured performer Paul Wright, and to our other performers; Ibar Quirke, Conor Lyons, Ajay, Marie Howlin, Rory Reynolds, Steve Huenneke, Ursula, Margaret Galvin, Pat Lambert, Philip Quirke and Paul Hennessy.

Outspoken will return on September 18th, skipping August to make way for three special nights of spoken-word performance at Eclectic Picnic from the 28th to 30th of August.
