Just when ye thought we had disappeared. Here we are. The beautiful new Centra opened in Ardmore today and we called in to do our shopping and wish Tony and Fiona Murphy, Brian Enright and all the staff every success in their new venture. We wish them all good health and happiness in Ardmore where we know they will be well supported by all the locals and holidaymakers. It is a beautiful shop.

Special mention to our dedicated, hard working staff, who were always there a smile and a kind word. Una your knowledge and care for each individual truly made one feel special. Bridget RIP brought an energy like no other, you are forever in our hearts. Teresa with huge interest in people you kept us connected. Jamie would oblige you with anything big or small making it look effortless. Marian your calm and kind presence, was a constant support. To Avril, Helen, Joanne and every other member that contributed so positively, in the early days or for a season - we could not have done it without you. Thank you for the memories and all the best in the future.

After 46 wonderful years, we have made the bittersweet decision to retire. It has been a true privilege to be part of this community, and we have cherished every moment shared with you. We are deeply grateful for your support throughout the years, through both the happy and sad times.

Ardmore feels like one big family, and we have always considered the shop our home. You, our customers, have been at the heart of it all. Over the years, we've built lasting friendships within the local community and with the many visitors who join us each summer.

We would also like to express our heartfelt thanks to the staff who have worked with us over the years-each of you is remembered with fondness.

And to our suppliers, who have been more than just business partners but dear friends, especially during our busiest moments, thank you.

It is with great sadness that we say our final farewell to our dear friend Bridgid. Our deepest sympathy go to Michael, Laura, Linda, Louise, Michelle and to all the extended Seward and Chapman family. Family was No. 1
In Bridgid’s Life. We feel so blessed to have had Bridgid in the shop with us for over 25 years. During that time Bridgid looked after the Deli, which she loved. (her second home)
Bridgid was top class and we had great fun.
We were very busy but Bridgid had everything under control and still had time for a chat and a good laugh.
Life will never be the same again but we will treasure the memories.
Rest in peace Bridgid. We love you and will always miss you.
