In the quiet afternoons at our family studio in Jerusalem’s Old City, I find a moment of peace in painting. With every brushstroke, I reconnect with the tradition my grandfather passed down to me, a tradition I’m proud to continue today.
This vase features a traditional Kutahya floral design, with the elegant saz leaf and delicate flowers motifs that have been part of our artistic heritage for generations.
Follow along and watch this vase come to life, from the first brushstroke to the finished piece. 🌿
A family tradition since 1919. Armenian ceramics, painted by hand in Jerusalem.
