5 & 10 Gadiana weights said to be of Navanagar - used in the period 1846. Fairly well made.

As per the information that I could gather, 2 Gadiana = 1 Tola. So theoretically the weight of these two should be 29 g & 58 g.

Added a very difficult to find Rupee of Ahmedabad issued in the reign of Jahandar Shah. Shahib Qiran legend.

Jahandar Shah Rupees with Abu'l Fath' couplet are comparatively less difficult to find.
Almost complete legend, both dates and mint name on the flan.
No test Marks.

Soon after Ahmedabad's first textile mill, The Ahmedabad Spinning and Weaving Company Limited, was established on May 30, 1861 by the visionary entrepreneur Ranchhodlal Chhotalal in the Shahpur area of Ahmedabad, Bechardas Mill (then known as The Bechardas Ambaidas Spinning and Weaving Mill) was the second modern textile mill set up in Ahmedabad around 1865 by Sheth Bechardas Ambaidas Lashkari, a prominent industrialist of the city in the Raikhad area.

The company was incorporated on 3 September 1914 as Bechardas Spinning & Weaving Mills Ltd. Based on the available historical records, the name of Bechardas Spinning & Weaving Mills Ltd. was later changed to Prasad Mills Ltd. in 1971 after the Lashkari family sold its controlling interest in the company to Bhagwatprasad R. Patel. Following the takeover, the mill was renamed Prasad Mills Ltd. The mill became a sick industrial company in 1984 and on 5 May 1989 it was ordered to be wound up by the Gujarat High Court.

The very artistically shaped Token appears to be a Workers check, Numbered 99 for a worker, working in the night shift in the Weaving Department of the mill.
