In 1958 Shri Pitambar Das Keswani added another feather to the cap by starting restaurent along side with the sweet shop. This was done after Shri Jumromal V Rochwani sold off his stake to the former and moved to Ahmedabad. In 1975 Azad Halwai, started the manufacturing of world famous Son Halwa a sweet with a rich historical background. However, due to some unavoidable circumstances, the same year saw the closure of the restaurent business. Azad Halwai was transformed into Azad Sweets in 1994. With the wealth of experience of three generations, Azad Sweets is a household name for lip-smacking sweets and savories produced using the most modern technology to suits the contemporary taste. These latest developments however do not stop us from maintaining all the necessary hygiene and continuing the traditional tastes and recipes in order to tingle your taste buds. For more than 60 years, It has been serving the palates of sweet lovers with the widest variety of sweets which are prepared with pure ghee and purest ingredients and has been a source of delight to the connoisseurs of sweets for its range, variety and superior quality.
