বৃষ্টির ধারা এসে অভিষিক্ত করে দোকানের ভিতরস্থিত পাথরের শিবলিঙ্গ;
যখন বাতাসের গর্জন ও ঝড়ের মাঝেও শিবলিঙ্গ থাকে অবিচল ও শান্ত;
তখন চারদিকে ছড়িয়ে পড়ে ভিজে মাটি আর পাথরের চেনা সেই গন্ধ।"
"When the torrents of rain, brought by the stormy wind on a Shrawan night, come and consecrate stone Shivlingas inside the shop;
when the Shivlingas remain steadfast and calm even amidst the roar of the wind and the storm;
it is then that the familiar scent of wet earth and stone spreads all around."
