A lot of you ask the meaning of the brand during our interactions. WHE is an acronym for WOMEN, HANDMADE AND ECO-FRIENDLY!

15% of fabric is wasted during cutting of the garment. Conscious brands like
share these fabric edges with us to be able to create these beautiful pieces.

The wooden part is actually MDF which is compressed wood dust board. We try to source it as much as possible from the interior design waste.

We engage 20 women artisans full time and about 120 women artisans part time to make, manage and sell our products. Most of our women, whom we proudly call Abiras, are mothers with no prior work experience or traditional skills.

We would love to know your experiences wearing WHE and improvise wherever possible.
