Ankith builds it.

After years of importing competition equipment from abroad, he decided to create his own skating boot.

A specialised last.
Multiple prototypes.

From winning SoleArt 2025 to bringing their ideas to life 👟🎨

Sanjana Bhopana (Student of NIFT Chennai) and Pal Patel (Student of NIFT Bangalore) turned their footwear concepts into winning entries; and their journey didn’t stop there. As part of their prize, they spent two months at the Plaeto office, gaining hands-on experience, working with our Product Design & Development teams, and getting a closer look at what it takes to turn creative ideas into real footwear!

The Chevron Outsole takes inspiration from the tread pattern of tractor tyres, designed to provide dependable grip as kids move from indoor surfaces to outdoor playgrounds and across multiple surfaces.

The streamlined flex-groove configuration also helps release dirt and debris more quickly, making it better suited to the varied conditions we encounter every day in India.
