The ever shifting thought process and ideas that evolve …develop and some times get reconfigured along this journey …the projects from which these ideas germinate and reappear are part of this larger ideation journey and also pause points where we get to make these ideas pragmatic and implementable with better resolution. Journey is also in terms of the transformation of space with ever changing
time, users, light, season and weather and the sensitivity to that. The great thing about the cycle of design and building is the constant churning of old design philosophies and the reprogramming that occurs when different situations , people and times come together and with an almost unpredictable nature which almost superfluously seem like an outcome of chance. Our constant endeavor has been to not be taken up by any stylistic cliché, but rather find meaningful design solutions that are based on processes, logics and there by opening up the possibility of a very diverse design iterations. Architecture practice in India throws up a constant thread of processes defined and redefined and some times coupled with contradictory design programs thrust on projects, thereby making sure that the design outcomes remain diverse, unpredictable and largely intuitive.Our practice celebrates that unpredictable outcome. The collaborative dialogue throwing up new possibilities fostered by knowledge sharing between end users, collaborators area experts of allied fields is what makes the whole process even more enjoyable and challenging.
