Wolf Stage 2 dyno run puts out 145 hp / 268 nm at crank.
Base run of standard i20 NLine puts out 119 hp / 200 nm.

We have continued our development work on the Hyundai i20 NLine 1.0L TGDi platform. We started with our present state of tune. Lots more effort was spent on the ECU calibration, in order to optimize the performance, by working on this DI (TGDi) engines thermal dependencies with respect to other tuning variables. Based on the previous logs and dyno runs, we started with calibration considering vehicle's specific pain points, while also maintaining safety features to ensure reliability. We also noticed that on extended power runs some cars are more sensitive and see temps spike which is higher than what it should be. Hence, we have revised the tune to change boost levels vis-a-vis intake and exhaust temps which should definitely helps to keep things safe.

Our revised torque modelling strategy is more PID sensitive which helps to effectively control turbo wastegate under high boost conditions and this inturn helps to hold steady boost without unwanted boost spikes. AFR calibration on the high octane tune is kept relatively conservative at peak loads and fairly closer to stock tune through most of the rpm range at low loads. In low load and cruising areas AFRs are at near stoich levels with enrichment kicking in based on revised calibration for torque request vis-a-vis load, RPM and vital temperatures.

Air flow parameters including peak boost and intake temps have close correlation to fuel octane rating , AFRs and ignition timing and hence our calibration keeps a fine balance between them while also managing heat effectively. Our calibrators also ensure that knock sensitivity index is kept at OEM levels to keep the engine safe. This beautiful Skoda Yeti 2.0 TDI MT in for our Stage 3 Package!
A perfect package for people looking to get the most out of their 2.0 TDI while still being well under the safety limits!

We installed a Front Mounted Garrett Intercooler with our custom plumbing along with a Garrett GT1549 Turbocharger and a turbo muffler delete! The car was already running a Downpipe and a filter so we only had to install our custom low decibel performance muffler!

We also installed a 312 MM BBK with Brembo Xtra Drilled Rotors and Brembo Xtra Pads! While the car already was running Bilstein B6 shock absorbers they were 50mm but the Hub assembly required for the BBK was a 55mm so we fabricated a custom 50-55MM converter sleeve for the shocks as well!

Now the yeti looks the part and drives the part too!

The Hyundai Creta 1.6 DDiS often placed in the market as a sedate family SUV but this one is nothing close to a family SUV!

This creta came in for our custom Stage 2+ Package all the way from Goa!

We installed a custom Front Mounted Intercooler with our custom SS304 Plumbing!

We also treated the car with our bespoke SS304 Downpipe and a BMC filter to help the engine breathe a lot better!

Finally it was time to load on the Stage 2+ Map by wolf Moto Performance and boy was it absolutely bonkers! We went through multiple iterations to get it right and meet the customer’s expectations thanks to our custom calibration team with the best in class experience with the Koreans!

The car ended up making an absolute killer 180 HP & 419 NM (163 WHP & 374.9 WNM ) on the dyno! This absolutely transformed the car and now it struggles for traction in the first 2 gears!

Another Wolf tuned VW TDI Stage 3. This Polo 1.6 TDI owner decided to join Wolf Stage 3 gang. VW TDI engines make an amazing platform for performance upgrades and its standard engine internals can handle quite a lot of power with the right hardware upgrades. This is another example that a Wolf tuned TDI can make tons of power and also be a super fun daily at the same time. We're super glad and excited to make this announcement that our new Custom Calibration - Stage 1& stage 1+ ECU Remap for 1.5 CRDI'S!

Service providers everywhere have been working hard to develop remaps as soon as protocols for 1.5 CRDI engines were released worldwide. Being the first to do something is a great feeling and the challenge of developing a solid calibration file (remap) gives us a high.

Tune: KIA / Hyundai 1.5 CRDi remap (New)

The aim was to see what improvements and safe gains can be achieved from this U2 1.5 CRDi BS6 version of this engine....As always, focus is on safe reliable gains, with stable boost & decent air/fuel ratios was what we were looking for. With brilliant low end, strong mid range and power spread across the rev band our Stage 1+ ECU Remap would be the perfect performance treat for all 1.5 CRDi's!

Wolf Performance believes in developing a wholesome calibration for all our applications. Given that we've been successful in developing a bunch of first's in the market, we have also been at the forefront when it comes to innovations in the automotive tuning space. The team Engineering Exponent used their in-house Kia Seltos 1.5 CRDi Manual to develop and Beta test various calibration files. EE spent many man hours on real world testing and data logging which was vital for the calibration development exercise. Waiting for more and more customers to share their experience!

After A week full of exhaustive testing, logging,driving and writing many calibrations with infinitesimal corrections between them trying to improve an already great low end and mid range whilst keeping it reliable and comfortable for the user was key. Long term testing will continue to ensure reliability and fuel efficiency has also been a forte of this exercise!

Being the first to do something is a big achievement but taking time and developing a solid map is equally important to us!

We're super glad and excited to announce to the public our thoroughly tested Custom Calibrated ECU Remaps for the 1.5 CRDI'S!

With absolute killer low end, mid range and power across the rev band while maintaining all the factory safety limiters our custom ECU Remap is the go-to map for all 1.5 CRDi's!

Protocols for 1.5 CRDI engines were released worldwide at the same time for the commonly used flashing tools so everyone had access to reading/writing the ECU.

This began a race in the background to finishing the calibration changes first with the tuning circles, here nationally and internationally.

We at Engineering Exponent and Wolf Moto Performance believe in creating a wholesome calibration file for any application. Given that we've developed a bunch of first's in the market when it comes to innovations in the automotive tuning space this was no different. We took our time with this one and used our in-house Kia Seltos 1.5 CRDi Manual to develop and test various maps. Real world testing is way more important to us than showing only graphs and figures. We believe in the you get what you feel experience!
