They say every brand has a beginning. Ours began in a humble 50 sq. ft. room—with big dreams, endless sketches, and the belief that something beautiful could be built from passion and perseverance.

Today, we open the doors to our 2,000 sq. ft. flagship store.

Every wall, every brick, every corner carries a part of us. The hand-painted walls, our signature print sofas, our brand colours, the details woven into every space—everything has been imagined, hand-sketched, hand-painted and handcrafted with the same love and intention that goes into every Urban Pataka creation.

What once belonged to one small corner of Kolkata has now travelled across the world—dressing women in the UAE, Kuwait, Qatar, Bahrain, Saudi Arabia, US, UK , Africa , Kenya , Singapore, Thailand and beyond. Somewhere along the journey, many assumed Urban Pataka was a Mumbai or Delhi label.

But we’ve always been, and will always be, proudly born in Kolkata. ❤️

This city gave us our roots, our colours, our courage and our story. Every milestone we’ve achieved carries a piece of Kolkata with it.

To everyone who believed in us, wore us, supported us and grew with us over the years—this store belongs to you as much as it belongs to us.
