My experiments with Tooth:

I am no Gandhi. I have great respect for him. I normally tell the truth, and that’s all. Why ‘experiment’ with it? My problem is with my tooth....

“An eye for an eye will make the whole world blind,” said Gandhi. But ‘a tooth for a tooth’ was okay with me as long as they were mine. My dentist offered to remove both of them in one sitting. Like the ‘Buy one, Get one free’ offers of today. He put me on his chair and approached me, ‘armed to the teeth’ with his pliers. Contrary to my belief, the lion’s share of my problem, the canine, came out painlessly with a single twist. But the dentist had to fight ‘tooth and nail’ to remove my ailing grinder. The aftermath was deadly and I felt like I ‘just escaped by the skin of my teeth’.

Have you noticed, guava, otherwise a sweet fruit, has surprisingly seeds of same size of the cracks in our teeth!

When there are more ‘false’ teeth than original in my mouth, I can only ‘experiment with tooth’.

Have a brush with the Funwallah MBA....Part-2 has a riot of fun. Your tooth ache will go....but there could be stomach ache...!

“Hard work never killed anybody, but why take a chance?” said Edgar Bergen, the American comedian.

Classifying your work as Important, Urgent, Not Urgent and Not Important, and giving priority to ‘Important’ ones, makes your work life smooth. Unimportant but Urgent work gets neglected automatically. Confusing?

Then there is another way to deal with the hard work. Delegate some Urgent work, or innocently ask the boss on ‘how to do it’. He will be more than happy to show you how, and end up doing most part of it. In the meanwhile you can do the ‘Important’ ones, which produce the results that matter to your role and the organisation. And this is smart work.

Hope my boss is not reading this!

More laughing stock in the funwallah mba....
