Dont look at the bags please..just focus on the steps!!!!!

Eight years ago, a wonderful customer visited our retail space. She was elderly and could barely walk, but was determined to see our collection. As she climbed the stairs, she paused and said, "Ouch, my back is hurting," reflecting on how hard it can be for people with special needs to overcome daily challenges just to do what they love.

Then she made a quiet promise: "As long as I am here, I will buy at least once a year."

She is 97 now and counting—and true to her word, she has never forgotten to pick up something from Ekagrata, year after year.

Today, these steps wait for a new pair of feet to discover the beauty crafted here. Maybe it’s you! ✨

A Love Story: "Till the Final Seam Do Us Part" 🧵✨
It all began in the scrap bin at Ekagrata.
Pink Paisley was refined, soft, and accustomed to grand ambitions (she originally dreamed of being part of the royal chair).
Solid Cream Suede, was understated, practical, and grounded—sitting at a zero-match rating on the local fabric dating apps.
Neither expected to get picked.

Then came the artisan table.

When the pair were placed back-to-back, a heavy-duty sewing machine hummed to life. THUG-THUG-THUG-THUG.

Before either could file a formal objection, a strong black zipper bound them together forever.
It wasn't love at first sight—it was lock stitch at first sight.

Suede and Paisley whispered to each other, "We’re married now. Locked together by thread count 40/2 and a heavy-duty needle has already double-hemmed our edges."
