Maaya Crafts Contemporary Golu dolls and stories through handcrafted miniatures. India's first online handmade golu dolls store (since 2017)

Giving life to memories through handcrafted miniatures.
3D illustrator of Indian culture and traditions. Welcome to my little world of miniatures featuring Indian culture and tradition. My miniatures are made mainly with quilling papers for dolls and with polymer clay for food items. Am a dentist by education and found out my dormant passion for crafts when I was helping my creative daughter to make her miniatures. Soon I found out am good in making miniatures just as my daughter and discovered my passion. Through miniatures I started to tell stories of my golden childhood days to my daughter. When our collections of miniatures grew, I planned to display them in our Navratri Golu and just like that Maaya crafts was born with niche of selling miniatures based on Indian cultures and traditions. I am glad and proud to say that Maaya crafts is India's first handmade golu dolls store that speak richness of India's culture and traditions.

Miniatures may be tiny, but there’s a whole world of learning behind them! 🤍✨

From training with professional clay artists in Malaysia 🇲🇾 to experimenting with materials, textures and techniques to recreate our favourite Indian foods 🇮🇳 — it has been such an exciting journey of learning, experimenting and creating.

And that’s exactly what I bring to every Maaya Crafts Miniature Workshop — not just a finished project, but the techniques, materials and little discoveries I’ve gathered along the way. ❤️

Come experience the joy of turning a tiny piece of clay into food that looks almost good enough to eat! 😍
