Growing Mint plants
The most easiest grown plant is Mint.
Sow the seeds or you can grow the mint with cuttings. The mint that you bought for cooking can be used for planting. Remove the leaves for cooking your Biriyani or Chutney then you can plant the stems on the Just Grow's Organic Potting mix. Right before flowering, cut the stems 1 inch from the ground. You can harvest one mint plant two or three times in one growing season. You can also just pick the leaves as you need them. You can grow the plants indoors for fresh leaves
You can find mint growing indoors in a pot of soil or even in a bottle of water. For starters, you need a container with adequate drainage for healthy plant growth. Pot up your mint plant with a good potting mix
From seeding to maturity, mint takes about 90 days. This means that it will achieve its full height, generally of 1 to 2 feet, and it will be ready to harvest. At this point you can cut mint down to 1 inch above the soil, and it will regrow to harvest height again in a month and a half or so.
Use organic growing products to grow your veggies. Say No to plastic materials for growing plants like plastic pots and plastic bags. You can use grow bags which are bio-degradable and UV treated.
Before you buy please do check for the bio degradable grow bags or ceramic pots or terracotta pots.
