Dharwad and hubbli twin city of Karnataka, is around 430 Km, It has a relatively dry and hot wheather through out the year.
Chandramouleshwara Temple in Hubbli is one of the centre of attraction you shoul not miss. It is very near to Unkal lake. It depitcs Chalukya architectur and is around 900 year old.
Betagiri- a place in Gadak 80 km from Dharward is famous for its sarees. Dharwad is famous for it's sweet delicacy Dharwad Peda which is not found anywhere in karnataka. Dharwad Peda is a Geographical Indication tagged product of India. Ram Ratan Singh Thakur was the first person who started making this delicacy during 19th century and his family still continuing this business.
This savoury is made with milk sugar by adding different flavours. It is a must try when you visit Dharawad.
