Pupilio began with a simple dream: building a library for my little girl when she was just seven months old. I didn’t have big plans, I was simply looking for good books and creating a small world of stories for her.
Slowly, one reader at a time, that little dream grew. Our curation resonated with so many of you, and before we knew it, we were helping build libraries for many children.
Two years ago, another dream came true: our very first retail store.
We signed the lease with equal parts excitement and disbelief. In just three weeks, an empty space was transformed into a warm little haven for book lovers. We painted, arranged shelves, unpacked endless cartons, debated tiny details, and poured our hearts into every corner.
The last two years have been full of growth, conversations, author events, and community. We opened our doors in a location many advised us against, and yet it became a place where readers, children, and parents gathered with warmth and trust.
Now, as we move to a new location, we wanted to pause and celebrate our first home. Some places become more than just addresses; they hold memories, laughter, late-night unpacking sessions, and countless conversations about books.
Today’s post is about the transformation itself: the before and after.
