"From Heaven to Hell" is a piece of music that’s been through a lot of emotional ups and downs, reflecting a very intense period in my life, full of strong and contrasting feelings.
It’s about confronting the inner challenges we all face and continue to work through.
I’m confident that you’ll feel a lot of these emotions when you listen to this track, which will be part of my album coming next year. 💛

It was recorded in the “Enchanted Castle” (Castello Incantato) in Sicily, a very evocative place that tells the sad story of a man with a broken heart, a theme consistent with this composition.

I fell in love with this song the first time I heard it, almost two years ago.
Today I propose this "arrangement of the arrangement created by Alexandre Lora (one of my favorite musicians to whom I am constantly inspired), where I added a personal intro and modified a little the structure of the song, increasing its duration.

The most iconic scale extended to dial is grounding low vibes with Bb2 and going all the way up to G5. The bottom shell consists of 4 dings allowing a powerful percussive possibilities.

Here is a cover of "Opening Samba", by the master Alexandre Lora.
A definitely HARD piece for me, which really required a lot of patience and many hours of study to learn.
So much effort to study a piece like this, so far from my musical approach and culture, but so damn satisfying!!! 😌

Could I have devoted this time to composing my own music?
Of course, but I still think that learning songs by great artists like Alexandre, in this case, is a great opportunity to explore new techniques and get out of your comfort zone...Damn, this samba rhythm has been a nightmare for me 😅

About 15 years ago, Swarup sowed the Handpan seed in my life.

Nothing was same after that evening. Handpan opened floodgates of bliss.

After many springs, this seed has bloomed wonderfully, I had the fortune of gaining Swarup’s trust in my hammer. We crafted a A2 Hijaz 14 . Can’t wait to see Swarup’s journey with this low hypnotic scale 🛸
