: Ever since the ancient Greeks perfected the art of sculpture, the world has
followed in their footsteps. During the Renaissance, there was another flowering of the visual form, right about the time when the great Michelangelo walked
the earth. "I saw the angel in the marble and carved until I set him free" he is supposed to have said. In the modern day, sculptural arts continue to flourish, as evidenced by the great works of Sir Anish Kapoor or Dame Phyllida Barlow. Tiara by Artize pays homage to the diverse
sculptural arts, and particularly echoes the forms of Dame Barbara Hepworth's oval sculptures. Although made with solid material, its visual vocabulary exudes a certain lightness. The effortless motion of Tiara's spout, an action that gushes forth water,
captures this delicate quality.
