Sweet Truths Sweet Truths by Debjani Mishra specializes in homemade baked goodies: cakes, pastries, cookies, jams Baking and cooking have always been for friends and family.

I have always had not one passion, but two-teaching and baking/cooking. I dedicated the best part of my life to teaching and continue to do so. Their appreciation spurred me on to turn to baking professionally. It was in April 2015 that I finally took the plunge . My travels abroad has enriched my culinary and baking experience, and propelled me on to try my hands on varied dishes. Baking is a time consuming activity. Every part of the activity is done by me meticulously to ensure the quality is never compromised. I give every order (big or small) an equal amount of attention and make sure that the end product is to the satisfaction of my client. I feel truly blessed that I could pursue my passion and enjoy the time that I spend on my bakes.

I am seriously late in posting. This was done in May😬. Love the colour. What about you?

“You do not just wake up and become the butterfly -growth is a process”.

My contribution to a beautiful international collaboration on the theme of Sicily. I wanted the focal point to be the colourful hand drawn fruit carts that you see in the streets of Sicily but this was a pretty time consuming task. Everything on the cart is edible including the canopy😊. The bottom tier depicts the Sicilian landscape and I tried my hand on some palette knife painting with buttercream.
This was a work of love and I enjoyed every minute of it.
