CHECK YOUR 2005-D NICKEL! 🦬

That little 5-cent coin in your change might have something unusual on the bison.

Look for the raised line running through the bison’s back — the feature that gives the 2005-D Speared Bison its name.

The 2027 Red Book lists GSID 24953, with guide values from $40 in EF-40 to $900 in MS-66.

PCGS records an MS-66 auction high of $2,650.

But remember: $2,650 is an auction record, not the value of every Speared Bison. Grade, authenticity and attribution matter.
