With the advent of Internet let’s all agree that we are gradually getting more glued to social media which is affecting our reasoning, concentration and how we perceive stories. This is our little effort to focus and bring a little attention to our age old tradition of oral storytelling to the young ones. The storyteller for this session will be non other than .hindustani , co author of the book “Feathers, Fools and Farts”. And she will be narrating stories from the newly released book “The whispering mountains “ which feature one of the stories called the mother bird. Thanks to Puffin India for their kind endeavour.

The third day of the 2nd edition of the Children’s Book Festival saw the formal release of the children’s book ‘Ting Ting Chaoro’, a collection of age-old Manipuri nursery rhymes and lullabies compiled by Pa Thawan and Sapam Sweetie.
